Two-Floor Science Lab Restoration | Bedford, MA
Two-floor drywall, painting, and finish restoration completed across a science lab facility in Bedford, MA, covering lab rooms, offices, and hallways on both floors.
Scope included:
- Drywall - hung, taped, floated, and finished ready for paint; insulation installed where needed; floors and lab equipment protected during work
- Painting - Sherwin Williams primer, ceiling paint, eggshell walls, semi-gloss trim and doors, DTM coating on metal doors and frames
- Electrical - outlets and cover plates repaired/reinstalled following demolition
- Finish work - cove base installed throughout offices, hallways, and lab areas; metal corners installed; final sand and clean
Work progressed floor by floor - drywall and insulation first, followed by taping/mudding, sanding, painting, and finally cove base and punch-list items. Lab and office equipment was protected throughout with plastic and floor paper. The project also worked through some on-site conditions, including a weather closure and a minor water intrusion from HVAC access, both addressed without delay to the schedule.
